A couple of little tips in the assembly of the KX1 might be useful to 
others...

There are two spare #4 split lock washers supplied with the KX1 kit. 
These are thinner than those supplied with the K1 and K2 kits.  I have 
used these spare washers on the thumb screws to prevent the thumb screws 
damaging the bottom cover.

I have also used a thin nylon washer on the thumb screw that secures the 
paddle.  Likewise, this helps to preserve the shiny finish of the 
aluminium bracket.
