Thanks for your kind thoughts, Dave. Eric and I have great respect for what
Heathkit accomplished. We do put our own spin on things, and we're pleased to
hear that our customers like the results.

Prior to the 1970s a large percentage of hams built their own gear--something
like 30-40%. These days it's more like 5%. We hope that we--along with other
current kit companies--can continue to put some of that "hands-on" spirit back
into ham radio.
