[Elecraft] K2 A/B Comparison with 1000MP

Upon completion of my K2 (#3716) with the SSB and DSP modules added, I began
to do some receive comparisons with my FT-1000MP.  I noticed that the
signals were all DOWN on the K2 when compared on the same antenna with the
'MP.  Then I realized (correctly, I hope) that the receiver in the FT-1000MP
utilizes a pre-amp all the time UNLESS the IPO is engaged.  The pre-amp on
my K2 was not engaged during the comparisons.  So...apples and oranges,
right?

In comparing the K2 receive with the 1000MP, the K2 pre-amp should be
active, correct?
