Hi John
I think you are right. Compared to the DX contest in the Spring, I
didn't hear nearly as many Carib'n stations as I expected. Never
heard Venezuela at all, which also surprised me.
I worked 160m-10m with my K2 at 5w, except 80m. Never heard anything
worth spending time on on that band, so skipped it. Had 153 Qs
total, with 62 countries and 54 zones. This was my first serious
effort at the DX contest, and I sure have a long way to go.
Hope to hear you in the 10m contest or the 160m contest next weekend.
73, Bob N6WG

Limited time and not so good conditions here in S. New Mexico. Worked
single band QRP 10M with K2 <5W. 96 Q's, 20 Zones, 35 coutries. I didn't
many signals coming out of the Caribian, and what I did hear had flutter,
like coming over the pole. Were there many stations in the Caribian on this
year? The K2 sure hears well, love it.
