[Elecraft] OT: rec'd Bird 43 - pleased

Hi folks -
After getting some opinions from those who know - some for and some against
the Bird watt meters, I decided to purchase one. This particular one was
$150 and had been used once on a research project - it's like new. I would
have to say that I am quite pleased and for my needs pretty much agree with
all who like the Bird. it does the job well. For caution's sake I am buying
elements that I need new, rather than used,  however. Anyway - maybe this
will help others shopping and wondering.
