This is a copy of my latest eham review....


Well, I need to give this K2 a bit more credit than I gave it in my =
first review. I just re-jigged my filters and I'm using the OPT1 filter =
for CW now.=20

Today was tuning around on 12mx and I heard a weak 5W0 station with a =
fluctuating signal between 319 to 419 on the 101Z. I decided to flip to =
the K2 and I was surprised to hear the sig was alot louder, clearer, and =
readable - his signal improved to 529 - 539 on the K2.

So I am convinced - you guys were right all along and my exceptional =
101Z has been well and truly out performed (on 12 meters).=20

What I love about this rig the low current draw. I can wind my K2 down =
to draw just 260mA - and that is marvelous with the options I have =
installed. In battery mode, I can crank it down to between 190mA and =
210mA depending on the signal being recieved.

So my review of the K2 has to be updated accordingly to give this rig =
justice. I should also add that the audio quality from the K2 is nothing =
short of being first class. It's a pleasure to listen to for lengthy =
periods of time.
