Years ago I worked in a shop where we did some gas welding and brazing, 
and I remember having a little set of wires for cleanng the orifices of 
the tips.  I don't know how big the holes in the Hakko tips are, but if 
you visit a welding supply shop you can probably find these tip cleaners.
