The joy of kit-building should not be confused with radio performance. The K2 is a great radio, but it is a superb kit, and there are some commercially-built radios that outperform it (but not by much!). At Heath, we always enjoyed staying close to the best, but the feeling of accomplishment always was #1. Mike
