I'm certain you scould, BUT be careful when using it... such wire IS 
solderable, so if you get it too hot, it can/will 'take' solder which could 
build up over repeated use and possibly turn out to be a liability down the 
line.

Agreed! WELL WORTH a bit of cleaning effort at the end of each use.
