Yeah, I wondered about that as well.  There were only 3 or 4 messages 
until the request to let the din subside.  And that is when the 
floodgates opened.

And I'll repeat what Eric or Wayne said earlier in the week, in my 
words since I don't remember their exact words.  Anyway, it was stated 
to leave the determination of what was appropriate and how long threads 
could run to management.  They don't want the list users trying to take 
control of their list.

My how we have short memories...
