Hi to all,
 I am new to amateur radio (just got my tech + license) and obviously, =
new to kit building, so I apologize for this naive e-mail.=20

I am at the stage of alignment and testing the K-1 receiver.  I only =
hear static with no change after antenna connected,  The band is open.=20
=20
I did a thorough review of my work, I left out transistor Q3, I =
installed it and still no joy.  All components are in place and appear =
properly oriented.=20

Is there anyone out there who is familiar with the process of signal =
tracing?  I am somewhat reluctant to start this without knowing what the =
heck I'm doing.
