Here is a question on Kester solder.

Down here in Oz I bought a 4 oz spool of Kester Hi-Tech electronic
solder.  This stuff is not mentioned at all on the Kester site.  I
emailed Kester but got no reply.  I am concerned that it could be
no-clean solder that Elecraft specifically warns us not to use.  Anyone
know anything about this Hi-Tech solder?

Incidentally, I emailed the Kester agent in Oz asking for availability
and price of Kester 44 solder or the RMA version.  Reply was to the
effect that he would get it in if I wanted 25 to 50 Kg (55 to 110
pounds) of the stuff.  Emailed again to ask if anyone retails what I
want in Oz.  No reply!  I really am trying to get out of the habit of
importing what should be commodity items / tools from the USA.  I know
it would be a big hit with the XYL, but your darned American suppliers
offer such good service.
