[Elecraft] Oscilloscopes

Hello Ron!
I have the Protek and an old Tektronix 475A (and a current Tek digital
'scope).
The Protek is an OK, economy analog oscilloscope. It is bulky (more than 3"
..about 8cm.. wider than the Tek 475A). The probes aren't as nice as Tek
probes. But for $300, it is a great deal, in my opinion. It does what you
expect a 60 MHz analog 'scope to do. YMMV.
Analog 'scopes are a dying breed, it seems, and Tek hasn't made a 'scope
with a CRT in many years. My '475A has an intermittent, so I bought the
Protek as insurance.
I have a Protek bench supply which I bought about 3 years ago, and it has
seen a lot of use and still runs just as it did when new - meaning the same
quirks :-)
Hope this helps, no interest in Protek or testequipment.net, etc.
