Yes, we QRPers sure like to do things our way. The way we use the term
"Alaska Foxhunt" is as follows:

  - A bunch of Alaska Hams get on the air on 20 meters on preassigned approx.
frequencies. We will preannounce Callsign and assigned frequency +- QRM
before the hunt.

  - The Foxes will operate for probably two hours on an announced date and
time and will call "CQ Fox".

  - Gobs of QRP Fox hunters try to work the Fox, catch the Fox, nab a pelt,
etc. and both the hunter and the fox exchange RST State and Power. Or we may
use the Foxhunt rules from http://www.cqc.org/fox/wfox00/rules.htm which
exchange RST, S/P/C, name and Power. I prefer the Spartan Sprint shorter
exchange but we shall see.

  - Results will be tabulated which could be a big job if propagation is good.

  - The QRP hunter with the most pelts or Foxes worked will win the prize or
if a tie, there will be a discriminator of some sort or maybe a drawing.

I hope this helps.
