[Elecraft] KDSP2 and the right headphone?

Hello,
I bought a new heaphone for my K2. Its a Sennheiser PX30. 32 ohm and  
115db/1khz sensitivity. The cw-sound very nice and loud, which wouldn't 
be the case before, although my previous HP was also loud enough.
But the to my surprise the artefacts from the KDSP2 noisereduction in cw 
mode is completely gone.  How can this be? Resonances on the old HP?
