[Elecraft] Major Problem ?

  If the KDSP2 worked fine with the K2 in its basic mode, the addition of 
the KPA100/KAT100 will not change that fact.  Nor is it likely (although 
possible through handling) that you've done anything to the external unit. 
Thus, your problem is likely with the connection between the two units. 
Double check your connection wiring and various connector/plugs.
