I have 2 areas I need advice on. I have got my sidetone working at last =
(dry joint) and have had a qso across town.Yipeee
My s meter does not work on rx. I have cal hi and lo and that works ok. =
It shows power out on transmit. I can switch my agc off and I end up =
going deaf with the increase in signal. The voltages on u2a are ok =
except from q12 which is down around 2 volt. Q12 has only 4 v on base =
and 3.7v on collector the 8v rail is fine. Would like advice before I =
try and change the transistor. I also have the low battery warning every =
8 seconds and display shows 1.1v and no current on rec (switch on 12v). =
On transmit ciurrent reading as expected but voltage still wrong. =
Voltages on u3b are as per book. Switch in the ext position the current =
on rec is fine.  Have spent over 7 evenings and starting to go round in =
circles. THE REST WORKS A TREAT!
