Lyle (KK7P) is absolutely correct. Putting the KPA100 and the KAT100 in the
remote EC2 is elegant. Internally, there are only two short jumpers (RF and
DC) and one ribbon cable to connect. This has several benefits: No heating
of the remote K2 by the KPA100, daisy chain RS232/AuxBus control of
everything including KRC2 and a fully equipped QRP K2 that can be quickly
disconnected and brought to the field.
