I was planning on ordering for mine as well. I have heard of problems =
from
Mountain OPS before and figured they had straightened things out...
obviously not and will not be getting an order from me.

Subject: [Elecraft] K2 carrying case
Hi,
I am planning to take my K2 camping so I ordered what looked like a =
nifty
case for portable operation from Mountain Ops. Then they were purchased =
by
an outfit called Outback Concepts. I sent 2 emails and made 4 phone =
calls.
I spoke to a friendly gentleman (twice) who said he would check things =
out
and get back with me. Alas, 2 months have passed and no carrying case. =
The
last two
times I called, I left a message as instructed, but they did not respond
(the message promises a call back). Any ideas for an alternative? I =
tried
an old notebook computer case, but was not satisfied. Has anyone used =
the
PowerPort product line? By my measurements the K2 will only fit in =
their
brief case style product.
Thanks,
Ed Milcarsky KG4ARN #3212
