[Elecraft] OT Diamond Antenna?

Hi Martin
I ran a pair of diamond loops on 40m for several years.
Fed each in a side corner, and phased them. This was a
real killer dx antenna for 40m.
I suggest you feed your diamond in a side corner, and
enjoy your dxing. You will get a low takeoff angle,
which is needed for dxing.
Good luck and 73

Subject: [Elecraft] OT Diamond Antenna?
Hello elecrafters,
this is a bit off topic, so please answer direct.
I have a full-size delta-loop for 30m which i would like to convert to
a diamond antenna (sort of a quad element).
The maximum height over ground (top of the antenna) would be approx. 17m
when i hang it
down from my fritzel-tower.
Does anybody know where to feed this antenna for good dx-results?
Left (or right) corner? Lower corner?
What will the impedance be?
What will the elevation-angle be?
Any comments welcome.

Best regards,
Martin
