Folks,

Considering the answers received so far, and reconsidering my
question(s), what I am really after is the "Solar Physics" side of the
question. I have a pretty good handle on how various solar phenomena
affects HF radio propagation. What I'm interested in learning more
about, is why so much coronal hole and other activity...etc., and
comparing it to previous post sun-spot peaks. Event durations,
intensity, frequency of occurrence....
