Tim:
  Remove the lid the K2 and make sure the RF cable is in good shape and 
well seated in its socket.  If, when you put on the lid, you put the RF 
cable to is connector first, and then worked forward to the I/O cable, it 
is possible you jarred the RF cable loose on its connector, causing 
precisely the problem you are having.  If that doesn't do the job, try 
first loading into a dummy load to see if the problem continues to occur. 
If not, you've got a problem somewhere in the antenna feed, quite 
independent of the K2.  Otherwise, of course, you've got more substantial 
trouble shooting to do.
