Net report for August 3, 2003
   
20 meters was open but quite active with contesters.  We worked at 14052 today and got check ins from :
WU5X  Jim
KQ9L  Rick 
and a tough one for me VE3XL Richard (sorry I was hearing you about S2)  
Then I finished up with KL7V/5  Sam

On 40 meters, which was very quiet this evening, we worked at 7054 and between the contesters had check ins from :
N6JW  John  (I heard you S9 this week with my new antenna)
and KL7V/5  Sam

Since I got my second G5RV up much higher and at right angles to the other I could work into California easily to pick up John.  
Switching between antennas helped me get folks across the US but I think the contest was getting most of the attention this week.
