[Elecraft] Whoa!!! AGC Adjustment????

Hey, did I miss something here?????
I have a pre-3000 K2 and I did not know there was a mod for the AGC.  I compared schematics and low and behold the circuit was changed.  Is there an "official" note on the mod to the AGC that I missed?  To add the pot?

PS  My contest buddies still not believe I sold the FT1000MP and just using the K2\100 as a primary rig.  They say it sounds great....
