Probably. Loading messages into memory hasn't been very satisfactory
since way back when the firmware was changed. Something to do with
MCU memory space and having to optimise the CW routine after making
larger CW memories, if I remember correctly.
I for one would be happy to see the size of the CW memories reduced,
maybe something like 3 full size and the rest shorter. Hopefully this
would free up enough memory to restore the ease of loading and quality
of message CW.
Actually I seldom use CW memories but it has been an issue with some.
I believe the trick is to forget about normal character spacing and
run your code hard into the memory. That way it comes out almost
acceptable.
