[Elecraft] K2 and ICOM SM6 mic.....

Has anyone tried using the ICOM SM6 mic on their K2 and gotten it to work? 
When I plug in the SM6 the 5v goes away which I'm guessing means the mic is 
pulling some current. I know the manual says the K2 can only supply about 10 
mils so was just checking if someone got the mic to work?
