[Elecraft] KNB2 Question

It depends. If it is really QRM as opposed to QRN the noise blanker
really won't do much. It is designed to reduce noise not other,
unwanted signals. Perhaps you have been using your notch filter on the
Pro or maybe IF shift or narrower filter settings. All of those devices
can help significantly with some types of QRM. I do own a Pro and am
familiar with them.
I've found the noise blanker on the K2 really is very good at doing what
was intended - - reducing man made and even some natural noise. But it
won't do anything for real QRM. You can try using narrower filter
settings on the K2 or, if you are operating CW, the reverse CW setting.
That should help. The audio filter, if you have it, should also help.

Subject: [Elecraft] KNB2 Question
Hi again.
I have a question about KNB2. Today, I receive a lot of QRM which is
totally
canceled by the NB of my 756PRO. On my K2, this QRM is 56 with NB1 or
NB2.
I think my KNB2 dosen't work. Is there a solution to ensure that it
works,
or not ?
Thanks a lot.
