still new to this but wondering how does cw translate to other langauges =
are the dits and das matched to compatible letters from another language =
ie english to japanese or does the foreign operator your qsoing have to =
know english?  In my arrl operating manual they have the international =
code everyone knows and some in depth stuff for japanese characters with =
dits and dah patterns ive never seen plus stuff for like dollars signs =
and stuff ive never heard used on the air.  Ive also seen something =
called american morse is that the original code they used for the =
telegraph way back?  anyway my mom asked how does the foreign operator =
understand me if they dont know the english language since each set of =
beeps i give them translates to english letters.  I had never stopped to =
think bout this.  IM almost a whole year into this hobby and havnt =
exactly had an elmer yet.  But i have found lots of different people =
help me on multiple subjects frankly anyone who knew everything in this =
hobby would be a GOD!  reason im asking here is i know theirs a lot of =
experienced cw operators here that could maybe clue me in tnx.
