[Elecraft] Problem: Using "Fast Play" in Split Mode

This weekend I had the K2 in SPLIT mode while using the
FAST PLAY buttons.

Whenever I would press one of the FAST PLAY buttons the radio would transmit 
on my listening freq, that is, it would not recognize the SPLIT mode.

If I used the paddle (with all other conditions remaining the same) it would 
work fine, and it would work fine if I used one of the 'normal' message 
buttons. Just not the FAST PLAY.

Any help?
