[Elecraft] see through case?

k wayne and eric bear with me here.  On my computer case i cut out =
windows and installed neon lights that would flicker with the bass of my =
music.  they make custom cases with windows and light kits for computers =
for us geeky gamers to show off our big pentium 4 and amd athlon xp =
processors with all the fans and water cooling equipment.  So i was =
thinking since we take on average 40-70 hours putting our radios =
together how bout a case that was either all clear to show it off or at =
least a porthole to look inside without having to unscrew the top?  I =
know the case acts as a grounding system but would it be alright to cut =
windows out or would that be bad as far as shielding out interference =
and such your thoughts please I would not even want to attempt unless =
you thought it would be safe.  I know that would definitely void any =
warrantys but i can live with that.  LIke a plexiglass or some clear =
material with a metal skeleton for the grounding.  like kids cell phones =
now a days that are clear and blink when they ring might be able to get =
my generation and younger interested. IM 26 by the way not that young =
but whenever i goto our local club meetings and hamfests here IM usually =
the youngest around. =20
