Let her start learning when she asks about/demonstrates an interest.
Don't do what I did...as a divorced dad I always had too many things to do
when I had my girls over to visit...they weren't my things, but things I
though they would enjoy.  My youngest daughter asked about ham radio.

I was off the air, and kinda soft-peddaled it.  Years later, when she
ended up moving in with me, we had a "heart to heart"...and one of the
things she was most disappointed about was that I hadn't taught her the
morse code and how to get her ham ticket.
