Hi Bob,

I'm not sure why C60 would be particularly thick. It should be an ordinary .001
uF disc or monolithic cap with a voltage rating of 25 to 100 V. The marked value
should be "102" or .001. Can you send me the complete labeling on the cap?

If it is the right value but really is too thick, the simplest solutions would
be to:

1. Mount C60 on the other side of the board

2. Substitute a skinnier cap.

Fortunately this cap's value is not critical; it could be anything from .001 to .01.

We'll also look into whether the cap dimensions have changed.
