[Elecraft] K2 IF amp alignment

Hi Paul...I just went through this question with the guru's of Elecraft and 
the reflector. Yes indeed, L34 is flat! The peak is subtle and broad but on 
my K2 SN3345 it makes some difference. I ended up using the Spectrogram 
software to "see" the peak....I really recommend spending the $25 for this 
program...invaluable! As for not hearing the birdie at 7.000 you won't hear 
it if an antenna is connected because  the band noise masks the signal. Mine 
is pretty strong so I'm guessing you probably do have a problem in the 
receiver.

All my problems, by-the-way, were self-inflicted....and they were many!!! AS 
suggested by Gary at Elecraft my most successful troubleshooting tack was to 
start from the beginning and check every installed component. I found my 
mistakes this way.
