While there is generally no electrical reason to deflux boards soldered
with rosin based fluxes there is one point that often gets forgotten.  A
defluxed board is much easier to inspect and find poor solder joints,
contamination, and other problems.  For PCB assembly I always use solder
with a low rosin flux content and wash the boards (usually outside) with
100% denatured alcohol.
