Hi John,
Thanks for your kind words. No charge - just glad to find someone who
can make use of it.
On my K2 I had plenty of holes through which I could route the RCA jack
- specifically, the Aux I/O, ANT 1, and ANT 2, and IN, and OUT
Transverter holes were open. I believe I ran it through the ANT 2 hole.
If you don't have any available openings on the K2 rear panel, you may
just want to try slipping the two wires between the cover halves -
carefully. I'd wrap them with some electrical tape for a little extra
protection, and then don't put in the two rear panel screws on the top
lid. It'll stay in place without 'em. Of course, if you anticipate
running this way for a long time, I'd suggest a more permanent mounting,
even if it means drilling a hole in the rear panel, and securing a
panel-mount RCA phono jack.
Regarding the soldering of the wires, J13 - the transverter interface
connector was not installed, so I just soldered the wires directly to
the pads intended for J13.
Have fun John, and let me know how everything works out.
