Personally I'd like a bit more sensitivity, as many mikes don't have enough 
output to trigger the vox (or indeed drive the K2 fully.) I know many 
people have built outboard preamps, and I've got the bits to do so myself 
when I have time, but it's a bit of a pain.

time.  Works a treat with - or without headphones.  Anti-vox isn't required

this end.
