[Elecraft] Wiring the SM-8 to the K2

I use an SM-8 on my K2. In fact, I use the A-B switch and two cables so I
can use my SM-8 on both the K2 and my Yaesu FT-847 (for 6 meters and
satelitte only). I get excellent audio reports with the SM-8 and I did not
add any resistors because the SM-8 has a gain control on the bottom. In
fact, it has two gains controls and a tone control. It's a great mic.

Subject: [Elecraft] Wiring the SM-8 to the K2

Has anybody wired the SM-8 mic to the K2? I've wired mine and it seems to
be working but I'm sure about whether I needed to add the 5k resistor per
the KSB manual.

I'd appreciate any advice - to confirm I have done this correctly.

Cheers all,

Dave
