Depends.. Some TMDA style server then blackhole you, assuming your a 
spamer. 

However some e-mail lists are run so poorly that unless a user has a way 
to be valadated, your going to get more then your fair share of spam.

A well run list should re-write your e-mail address so it points back to 
the list, and not allow posts with out being valadated at least once.

The way I look at it this.. If someone cant follow the instructions for 
TMDA, there probally not someone I need/want to talk to. However TMDA 
allows you to added e-mail addresses to your whitelist and blacklist for 
thoses cases where your not going to be able to get someone to respond to 
the first request.
