Dave,

I don't have the diode number at hand, but your K2 has a serial number above
3000 and I believe it includes the 'latest and greatest' low Vf diode at
D10.
A 0.65 volt drop is actually quite low and I believe the loss is well offset
by the protection from reverse voltage problems that it provides.
