[Elecraft] Earthlink ISP problems

A number of elecraft list users who use earthlink as their ISP are
intermittently experiencing delays getting list email or are getting
automatically unsubscribed. This is due to a problem at earthlink with their
new SPAM filters. Their filters apparently mistake elecraft list email as SPAM
when they see multiple emails to an earthlink account in a day from the same
list. Earthlink then begins to generate a large amount of bounce/delay
messages to the list, which causes the qth.net server for the elecraft list to
automatically unsubscribe the user's address as a bad address.

This problem is not restricted just to the Elecraft list or others at
mailman.qth.net. It also is causing intermittent problems for lists hosted
other places like yahoo groups. There is nothing we are able to do about it on
this end :^(

Earthlink is still not responding to the issue so earthlink user options seem
to be:

1. Complain to Earthlink until they do something (don't hold your breath).
2. Get another ISP
3. Get a free pop3 address or web mail address and subscribe with it.
4. Stay subscribed with your earthlink account but set your elecraft list
mail options to 'no mail' and read the list via our web page daily
archives at http://www.elecraft.com/elist.html . This will allow you to
    still post to the list.

Free pop3 accounts can be had at softhome.net and postmark.net which are both
very reliable. Using forwarding addresses like arrl or qsl will not solve the
problem, only make it worse for us to find bouncing addresses.
