Peter Zenker at QRP-Project in Germany provides -excellent- added value
through local (in EU) technical support and repair. He also answers pre-sales
technical questions. We don't sell to him at a large discount, so he must pay
for his overhead expenses and a small profit out of his mark up, which is
quite reasonable.

He also is a big plus to German non-english speakers and those who are not
internet savvy. A significant number of EU hams (who also contacted us
directly) find this service valuable enough to buy from Peter, based on the
number of rigs we have shipped him.

So we offer you the best of both worlds: Those who are comfortable purchasing
from Elecraft directly over the net can do so and those who are willing to pay
a little more for a local supplier can go that route. :^) We will do our best
to make your experience a good one wither way.
