[Elecraft] K1 Transmitter Alignment

John,

May not be a signal tracing issue. Did the receiver alignment proceed 
okay? Even if it did, sometimes the receiver alignment is not close 
enough to allow any power out all, therefore you sort of chase your 
tail a bit.

Do you have another radio you can listen for the K1 on?  Try tuning in 
the sig from the K1 (not directly connected to the K1 of course) and 
see if you can bring up the signal that way.
