Well I know that an audio filter can improve the signal to noise ratio
to some extent. The audio filters on my TS 940 and FT 1000D are helpful
with real weak signals. I am assuming it will be similar with the K2.
I have the filter which I finished a couple of days ago but haven't
installed it yet. Guess I will soon find out. I finished the K2 about
a week ago and have been having so much fun with it I haven't wanted to
open it up to install the option. I have also built the noise blanker
and currently am sawing away at the SSB option. I thought I would
install all of the options at once when the last one is done.

Subject: [Elecraft] KAF2 audio filter/clock module
Hi, I would like some feed back on the KAF2 audio
filter/clock module.
I have a K2 transceiver and operate mainly CW, would
it be an advantage to install the KAF2 audio filter/
clock module.
I am very happy with the performance of this great
little rig.
