[Elecraft] RIT Instability

Based on the limited responses (thanks!) this must not be a widespread =
problem.
I had intended to try a contact cleaner before removing the pot's - has =
anyone cleaned them successfully? It seems odd to me that both RIT pot's =
do this on my K2's, but none of the other pot's are noisy or otherwise =
compromised...
See you all at Dayton.

Subject: [Elecraft] RIT Instability
When adjusting the RIT on my older K2's, the frequency jumps around a =
small
amount within the RIT range rather than tuning smoothly. There is no
instability when the knob is stationary. This problem began on SN #139 =
after
several years of use, then SN #583.
Several questions: Is this a common problem? Is the only solution
replacing the pot's?
Thanks & 73,
