[Elecraft] European Elecraft prices - comment from the man who makes the prices ;-)

I like many other UK Elecraft users bought their kits directly from the USA.
Payment was via credit card with a negligible transaction charge that's
included in the conversion from dollars to pounds, my last purchase in
dollars via credit card was on 31st January 2002, $49.95 cost me 31.94
pounds which equated to a conversion rate of 1.56 dollars to one pound.
Delivery on my most recent kit (K1 a year ago) was 4 days from placing the
order (exceptional in anyone's view) with Customs charges payable on
delivery to Parcel Force (they accept a cheque with banker's card).

I'm sorry Peter, but ordering via Germany doesn't add any value as far as I
can see.

What I missed in all calculation:
Do you send the 599 USD in an envelope to USA?
If not, please add exchange fee and Transfer fee to your calculation. Yes, I
know, you will see this not on the invoice, but control your banc account
papers. The prices differe from bank too bank but the standard range is abt
50 EURO for a K2.
