I made the statement somewhat sarcastically. I think the real test, vat,
and shipping costs considered, is what support would you receive if
required. I suppose it's a lot cheaper to ship the unit to Germany for
repairs than the US.
Considering the markup...15 percent +/- isn't really that bad...you need
to determine if it's worth it to you.

I don't know...but I can observe that here of late sales of German cars
have nose-dived...and the dealers are advertising even more to convince
folks to buy them...
