[Elecraft] European Elecraft prices

Hmmn,

Allowing for trade discounts (5-10%) , and assuming 1 dollar=1 euro that is
an interesting markup. I'm not sure whether to wish I had done it first, or
whether to set up in competition (!)

Their main web page says they provide support, which may add *some* costs,
and let's be honest, they can't be picking up that many sales per month into
"old Europe".

I suppose it begs the question, why would one buy from a European
distributor? What value do they add for the increased costs?
