[Elecraft] K2Z Beta Progress & Mass Hedgehog Cull

Folks,

Just to let you know that I've not been idle. I've been spending a lot of
time resolving a persistent problem with restoring bands after memory
recall.

I've found a workaround to the problem, and can now be reasonably confident
that the next release will be out tomorrow. I'll post an announcement when
ready.

In the meantime, we must remain vigilant against terrorism. There are
reports coming in of a mass Hedgehog cull in North Uist  in the UK Western
Isles. There are complaints by various Hedgehog activists that the culling
is being carried out by an "evil dictator" who has ordered this mass killing
by members of the Sh'ower party. An appeal has been made to Donald Rumsfeld
for US assistance in protecting them from these "brutal attacks". In the
meantime, there is a steady refugee column heading for the UK mainland,
assisted by Lisa Frost, one of two nurses on the islands from St
Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Aylesbury.
