If it is the INTERNAL battery option that you are inquiring about, then I
can help with the answer.
1) It does not come with a 'charger' per se, but charging capabiliy is built
in. To keep the battery topped off, you will need a power supply that will
supply 14.3 volts to the jack on your K2.
2) The battery is a sealed lead acid type (gel cell) which should not be
overly discharged if you intend to preserve its lifetime. There is no need
to 'cycle' this type of battery, rather the goal is to keep its charge
topped off (or at the level of a 'float charge'. SLA batteries are quite
rugged and will supply a lot of energy in a small, rechargable package. If
you follow the 'rules' for SLA batteries, they will last a long time, but if
abused their lifetime is limited.
