[Elecraft] Remoting K2 Sound

Tony,
I don't think you should be put off the idea just because some people have
problems with firewalls. I've just installed a wireless access point so I
can access my main PC/server using my laptop from anywhere on my "estate".
My K2 is also connected to that PC, so I'm interested in ways to access it
remotely within my own network. I'm really looking for a solution that
involves MixW, since the main attraction is in making PSK31 QSOs while
reclining in a comfortable chair in the garden. But something that allowed
me to hear the audio would certainly be handy. I've heard of people using
NetMeeting for this, but that is a fairly resource-hungry piece of
software.

Hi David,
I'm not sure what K2S is, but I envisage the remote sound to be a sort of
bolt-on to exsiting remoting software. It just handles the audio - in both
directions in the case of SSB.

Tony
